It’s live! Hope you guys like it!
“I paid with heart instead of money and my weakness was the tip…”
I’m pretty sure these are lyrics, although I don’t yet have music for them. It’s about a very confusing friend…

MIXED SIGNALS
Destruction and delight!
Tears will be shed tonight…
Why don’t you ever try
to look through my sad eyes?
Art in ambivalence,
you crush my confidence…
Why don’t you try to behave
less changeably than ocean waves?
Drink and detachment
to stain and fill the parchment…
Why don’t you try for once to be fine,
to draw your literary lines
not looking through a glass of wine?
Your aim is to create confusion,
shatter the illusion…
Why don’t you try to make true
the beauty I see within, but not outside of you?

Feeling a bit lonely without my annoying family, but dealing with it by painting Cthulhu Easter eggs… ;)

EASTERTIDE
Good friend, let’s drink to youth and love,
with bells of Easter ringing!
Let’s celebrate the Resurrection
with wine and merry singing!
When family is far away
and you’re in need to argue,
remember I am always there
to irritate, then calm you.
In future days, when we’re apart,
do not forget this night
when Eastertide washed us ashore
within Blind Poet’s sight.

Written in January/March, so technically half-written in spring already, but the start was a result of joy that this particular robin’s song brought me on a particularly depressing winter night. :)

A LONE ROBIN IN THE NIGHT
Cheerfully trilling in the dead of night,
the voice of joy in the winter’s chill -
when everyone’s asleep and everything is still,
a lone robin invokes the first ray of light.
And all the people live in ignorance
of sleeplessness the bird suffers for Man,
waking each day the lazy winter sun,
not leaving anything to chance.
I am like this lone robin in my sleeplessness,
praying for dawn to come… But praying with sorrow…
Praying for joy to find me on the morrow
and for the brand new day to end my loneliness.
